Specimen Jars of DOOM!

I found a great "how to" on Instructables! My dollar tree did not have the same goodies, so my prices were a little higher, but not by much.  My little addition was a drop of yellow and a drop of green food coloring for some nice preservative flair.  All the color - none of the smell.  Unlike the worms in my classroom's fridge.  Somehow the fetal pigs and hearts are not as stinky...

Thanks for the great idea Shotgun3295!

Twenty minute sketches practice

I want to start noticing details in faces quickly, so I am going to try to draw these great faces from an old west book I have. Dad gave it to me from his Time Life "The Old West" collection. Amazing pictures! They inspire me to draw.

I ruin faces by a combination of overworking and frustration. The rule of walking away after 20 minutes may alleviate both. Hopefully after many many faces, the frustration will lessen.
